Steve Penney
Since 1990, Steve has acquired extensive international operations experience in the financial services industry, having worked in Ireland, UK, Japan, South East Asia and the U.S. He has acted as CFO/COO for fund managers in Dublin and London and his projects have included the establishment of start-up operations for fund of fund managers, traditional fund managers and joint venture fund operations in Europe and Japan.
Steve has held senior positions with AIG, where he was operations director in Japan and South East Asia. At BISYS he was responsible for European project management. With MiFund, a privately owned mutual funds supermarket, he was head of operations.
Steve is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Ireland, a Member of the Association of Corporate Treasurers and holds a Bachelor of Science (Hons) in Biotechnology and a Diploma in Structured Systems Analysis and Design Methodologies.
